FESTIVAL

The St. Augustine Art Association has been hosting art festivals for over 70 years! The original Art Mart, held in 1934 in the patio of the Old Spanish Treasury on St. George Street, drew talented artists and thousands of tourists and eventually outgrew the downtown plaza. Now located at Francis Field next to the Visitor's Center in the Uptown Arts District, this premier Art & Craft Festival is held twice a year, Thanksgiving weekend and the weekend after Easter. It supports the ongoing programs of the Art Association, animates the local arts scene and boosts the economic vitality of the Ancient City.
