Join award-winning artist, Priscilla Humay, as she details how color can bring your next drawing to life! With the use of colored pencil, you’ll draw from observation – while learning basic color temperatures, intensities and values.
Explore ways to layer and blend to create new-found depth and dimension, and discover new techniques for creating with colored pencil!
About the Instructor
Priscilla Humay received her BFA from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, and MS from the Illinois Institute of Technology. She did Post Graduate Study at Charles University, Prague, Czech Republic.
She has been a co-director of an art gallery, and has served on national art boards. She is currently a signature member of the Colored Pencil Society of America and served on its governing board.
She exhibits nationally in major juried and invitational shows and has received numerous awards. Her art is included in private and corporate collections and has been published in major publications.
