Workshop with Nikki Rakov

Monday, December 9 | 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM

at the St. Augustine Art Association

This holiday season, learn how to make unique, one-of-a-kind cards!

Award-winning artist Nikki Rakov will demonstrate how to transform an image of your choosing into a fun and eye-catching print. Whether you’re crafting holiday cards or gifts for loved ones, linocut prints will add a personal touch to your celebrations. By the end of the afternoon, you’ll have the chance to exchange prints with fellow artists, experiment with using each other’s blocks, and produce your very own set of hand-printed cards for the holidays!

All materials and supplies are included.

About the Instructor

Trained as an artist through her Fine Arts undergraduate work, Nikki Rakov is an MFA Painting Candidate at Savannah College of Art and Design. Nikki often works in acrylic, oils, watercolor and drawing media that is layered into her paintings to express her visions of a mysterious world. Her paintings reveal figures and animals interpreted from dreams, visions, and ghost stories woven together in dark and spooky landscapes. Nature in her landscapes is derived from memory and imagination, taking on the role of another character in her expressive paintings. Many of her award-winning works have been exhibited throughout the surrounding area, including at Butterfield Garage Art Gallery and the St. Augustine Art Association.
