Mixed Media Collages
Workshop with Paula Pascucci
January 11 – 13 | 10:00 AM – 3:00 PM
at the St. Augustine Art Association

Let’s mix it up — with paper, paint and collage!
Join Paula Pascucci, a local award-winning artist, in this expressive and exploratory three-day workshop. With Paula’s guidance, students will learn how to use fluid acrylic paints, gel printing techniques and stencils to create vivid collage papers in a full range of colors and values.
Then, with a provided reference photo, Paula will demonstrate how to transfer an image onto a 8″ x 8″ cradled board with underpainting techniques. Students will learn how to apply their papers to that underpainting, and form a beautiful, painterly collaged piece of art!
Most materials and supplies are included. However, students may wish to bring their own personal supplies. Click the button below to see this list.
About the Instructor

Paula was born and raised on the North Shore of Massachusetts. Her love of art began there, sketching and painting the natural world around her.
With a degree of Fine Art from the Art Institute of Boston, Paula has been immersed in the local St. Augustine art scene since 2017. As a self-employed artist, her main focus has been commissioned portrait work. However, experimenting has always been her passion, and she has most recently become interested in mixed media and collage.
Locally, Paula’s work is shown in Butterfield Garage Art Gallery, and she also enters — and has won many awards in — STAAA exhibits. Her paintings, pastels, and commissions can be found in many local private collections and throughout the national east coast.
