Learn how award-winning artist Chris Flagg sees the world “one sketch at a time.”
In this fun and insightful presentation, discover the value of hand sketching and how artists of all skill levels can learn to interpret their surroundings in a sketchbook. Then, join us for lunch and a demo, as we watch Chris bring to life his own sketch of historic St. Augustine!
Chris Flagg, FASLA, is currently a Vice President and “Creative Lead” for Design at Haskell. He is the co-founder of Jacksonville Urban Sketchers, bringing the city into an international community group of “seeing the world one sketch at a time.” He is a member of the First Coast Plein Painters, award-winning watercolorist and avid sketcher teaching online courses and leading multiple ASLA, company and Urban Sketcher “sketch crawls.”
His 40+ years of practicing landscape architecture have always focused on the value of hand sketching to quickly illustrate design thinking.
