“Inspiration is for amateurs. The rest of us just show up and get to work. If you wait around for the clouds to part and a bolt of lightning to strike you in the brain, you are not going to make an awful lot of work. All the best ideas come out of the process; they come out of the work itself.”― Chuck Close
Show up & start the process! Stretch your imagination while strengthening skills through the process of painting. Intermediate and Advanced Painters will explore concepts and techniques through various approaches to painting: experimentation of techniques and ideas, trial and error. You will be challenged to see and interpret in new ways of approaching your work.
Personal consultations in each class will cultivate your own vision and enable you to realize your personal artistic ambitions. Gain the confidence to explore the use of color, mark-making, surface quality and composition, emphasizing your own pictorial language.
Explore where you are and where you wish to go. Let’s Get to Work!
