""So heavy is the long-necked, long-bodied heron, always it is a surprise when her smoke-colored wings open and she turns from the thick water, from the black sticks of the summer pond, and slowly rises into the air and is gone." Poem by Mary Oliver This artwork is a collage, using found and new paper each one individually gel printed, using various color combinations and textures. The paper is then torn and placed, pushing and pulling the colors and patterns to create the feeling of wanting to walk the field." Artwork purchased online can be picked up AFTER the exhibit ends, on or after October 1, 2023 -- or shipped to the buyer (ALL SHIPPING COSTS TO BE PAID BY THE BUYER). -

Acrylics by Denise Vezza Maggiore (48 in. x 30 in.)
"Each piece I create is a Visual Reflection of my Spiritual Journey, images I see in my dreams or during quiet times of meditation and prayer. I distill these visions into a cohesive image that symbolizes the eternal and spiritual aspects of life; using abstract symbolism combined with earthly and cosmic elements. The surreal environments and juxtaposed elements induce a thoughtful and curious approach to the images. Cosmic and earthly locations combine to celebrate the inner world and the physical places we inhabit. "Darkness Flees" uses metallic and iridescent colors to highlight the heavenly beings entering into Boulder Valley, Colorado. Additional angelic troops are seen in the distance, covering the mountains all the way to the Continental Divide, ready and waiting to be called into the skirmish. The eternal battle between darkness and light is symbolized through the use of color, shimmering highlights and deep shadows. The angels of light prevail as one powerful Word pushes back the armies of darkness." Artwork purchased online can be picked up AFTER the exhibit ends, on or after October 1, 2023 -- or shipped to the buyer (ALL SHIPPING COSTS TO BE PAID BY THE BUYER). -

"Sculpted by the sea, Bronzed by the sun, At one with the universe… Zen. -Perspectvz by Laura Dill As a self-taught artist, I challenge myself to discover the model’s soul and then stay out of my own way as I dive into the adventure unfolding before me. This piece represents many firsts: my first foray into pastels, my first time working with a live model, and my first visit to the St. Augustine Art Association Gallery (Oct. 2022). It is also the first of a collection of figures completed or from studies at NE FL galleries. They are my “Gallery Girls”." Artwork purchased online can be picked up AFTER the exhibit ends, on or after October 1, 2023 -- or shipped to the buyer (ALL SHIPPING COSTS TO BE PAID BY THE BUYER). -
