"Winter Blessings was created to remind me to be grateful to live in such a beautiful place with mild winters. This piece was created right after New Years Day. After the joy and excitement that comes with the Holiday season, the turn into January can bring in seasonal depression. Months of short days and cold weather are not for the faint of heart. The good news is that here in Florida, the sun will still be shining most days. The deep blues and icy grays represent the characteristics that accompany winter, and warm corals and pinks offer us the simple joys that can still be found in the sunshine of a Florida winter."
