  "My first thought when asked to think about Florida is a Bird of Paradise flower. So exotic. So alienish. "The Light from Within" is my first pastel submission, second with this flower as the subject and third SAAA monthly show to which I've submitted a piece. Inspiration can come from the outside - nature, music, etc. It can also come from within, when we can stop long enough to catch it."
