Ancient Inhabitants of The Ancient City

Digital photography by Mary Felton
(20in. x 20in.)

Alligators have been around for millions of years which makes them even older than St. Augustine! I took this photo recently during feeding time at the St. Augustine Alligator Farm and thought it would fit the theme of this show well. They were here before us, are here now, and will probably be around forever. What do you think Ponce de Leon thought when he saw his first one? Amazing animals in this amazing city.
