Watercolor & Ink by Rosamond Parrish

After graduating with honors in English Literature and Spanish from Auburn University, Rosamond lived in Hawaii and Mexico, which inspired her to study watercolor. She was a student of legendary instructor Edgar Whitney and went on to teach for over 25 years at the Jacksonville Art Museum and in St. Augustine.

She served on the St. Augustine Art Association board and has won many awards, including the St. Johns Cultural Council’s ROWITA Award. She has published two books featuring her art titled Lincolnville, A Sketchbook Journal of St. Augustine’s Historic Neighborhood and St. Augustine, A Sketchbook.

Artwork purchased online can be picked up AFTER the exhibit ends on November 1, 2024 from the St. Johns County Administration Building (located at 500 San Sebastián View, St. Augustine, FL 32084).
