“Our local Northeastern Florida flora inspired this work. Martina plays with color theory, instead of painting green leafs, she uses a blue color palette. The energy and movement in this work are felt by the onlooker. The mood and the emotion one feels in George Gershwin’s “Rhapsody Blue” inspired this work. The musical emotion in this Abstract came through the Artist and motivated the painterly strokes used in Blue Rhapsody.”
