“This is the first plein air piece that I spent two sessions, returning to the same location to complete. As I have grown as a painter I am learning to slow down and return to a painting site sometimes to have another look and complete the painting. It was painted in Bing’s Landing, Palm Coast – off on a side trail. As soon as I saw the light steaming into the clearing, I knew I had to stop, observe and try to capture it.”
