Coccoloba Fantastica!

$3,300.00

Watercolor on aquaboard by Robin Lee Makowski
(38 in. x 30 in.)

“Coccoloba Fantastica! is one in a series of my seagrape paintings. I’m inspired by the variety of color and the challenging texture. The advantage of painting watercolor on Aquabord is that it can be sealed with varnish and requires no glass. Since it’s also not matted, I compose it to appear that there’s a mat on it, then bring the elements of the painting out into the border, which also brings the viewer into the piece. I’m represented locally by Lost Art Gallery, 210 St. George Street off King Street, where more of my work may be seen. My website is www.rlmartist.com. Thank you for your interest in my work!”
