Not Quite Ripe

$500.00

Oil by Megan Welch
(12 in. x 12 in.)

“I created this piece in my role as an Alumni Atelier Associate at Savannah College of Art & Design. In my role I spent last summer in Savannah creating a series of paintings inspired by long walks I took around the town of Savannah and the SCAD campus. One place that struck me was the campus community garden. It was lovely to see the students of the college take time to care for teh garden. I decided to spend time there creating a small series of smaller scaled works. To me this place reminds me of the importance of investing in our futures and the incredible amount of work that seemingly goes unseen to produce our food.”
