Old Tobacco Barn

$450.00

Acrylic by Diana Patterson
(27 in. x 21 in.)

“While I never smoked, I did enjoy many years employed by Jno. H. Swisher (makers of King Edward Cigars) in Jacksonville as Director of Employee Relations. I had always enjoyed the aroma from my grandfather’s pipe. While at Swisher, I was amazed at the amount of work that went into the production of cigars – fun to watch the beginning and end of a product in manufacturing. The process began with the growth of tobacco, coming from many areas of the United States, including Quincy, FL. The fields and old barns around that area always make for ideal subjects for a blank canvas. I love my Florida.”
