Soulmates

Soft Pastel by Janis Doukakis
(16 in. x 15 in.) – NOT FOR SALE

“Love is composed of a single soul inhabiting two bodies. – Aristotle

I have been drawing, painting and writing since I was a child. After art school, I had an exciting career as an advertising art director in Los Angeles. Later, I worked as a teaching artist / art specialist in my community conducting art workshops and creative events for the city. I also spent some very memorable years at an elementary school with my own art program. I’ve had artwork, as well as articles and art lesson plans of many kinds published both online and in magazines and catalogs.

I have been working with Faber Castell USA as an artist/writer since 2014, creating artwork and lesson plans in paint, pastel, graphite and mixed media.

I am very happy to have made the big move to Florida just this past year, and I am now settled in beautiful Ponte Vedra.”
