True North

$525.00

Acrylic on watercolor paper by Deborah Lightfield
(18in. x 22in.)

True North is an abstracted perspective from a sailboat on the historic Matanzas River. All diagonals are pointing in the direction the sailboat and the viewer are heading. Symbolically, “true north” guides us on our life’s path towards our destination. The compass helps us stay on track to become the best version of ourselves. St Augustine’s history has been rich with challenges, changes and conflicts, but the waterways have been its anchor and the many varied people have stayed the course to maintain the community we treasure.”

Artwork purchased online can be picked up AFTER the exhibit ends, on or after June 1 & 2, 2024 — or shipped to the buyer (ALL SHIPPING COSTS TO BE PAID BY THE BUYER).
