Register Below | STAAA Members $100 for 4 weeks; Non-Members $125 for 4 weeks
Under the direction of plein air artist Rosamond Parrish, students will practice their sketching skills: free-form drawing from direct observation, composition design and attention to detail. You’ll practice working on location, en plein air. Students can bring any sketch medium they like and other drawing (and painting) choices will be discussed on the first day of class. A small stool or lightweight folding chair is helpful, as is water, sunscreen and a hat.
Rosamond Parrish has taught outdoor sketching at the Jacksonville Art Museum and has won many awards for her drawing and watercolor works. Her exhibit, “On the Road”, at Wendy Tatter Gallery from Feb. 27-March 8, features her travel sketches and watercolors.
Class is now at maximum capacity. To be added to the waitlist, fill out the form below. You will be notified if a space becomes available.
